The Cinch Lady Answers Frequently Asked Questions FAQ's

Ok ladies I am going to tell you the scoop of why it is so important to wrap your tummies after your baby. If you don’t know it already, binding your tummy has been around for thousands of years in Europe and Asia. I have created the Cinch just for you moms who never knew or thought wrapping was such a hip thing to do for yourself.

As a mother of three kids who strongly believes a healthy body produces a healthy mind, I combine Beauty and Style, Hidden Functions and Motivation in the creation of the “Cinch Tummy Wrap.” You have to feel good on the inside before you look good on the outside. I design and create the Cinch so moms can get back to shape comfortably while feeling great doing it.

My opinions and advice are purely based on my experience of being a mother of 3 kids and wrapping my tummy after each pregnancy. As a daughter of an Ob-Gyn, I grew up watching my mom taking care of expecting and new moms for 30+ years. I saw the dramatic effect of binding your tummy after birth versus leaving it hanging loose.

Binding your tummy is a natural and healthy way to let your body recover quicker and easier so you can get back into the groove of your daily life. You will feel healthier, beautiful and energetic!

I have been on shows such as The Tyra Bank’s Show giving my expert opinions on how to slim after having babies. Many magazines such as Real Simple, American Baby, Pregnancy, Pregnancy Newborn, Fit Pregnancy, Pregnancy Today and Celebrity Baby and many more have weighed in and gave my creation ‘The Cinch Tummy’ and Post-Preggo Apparel line “Silhouette by Anew” a standing ovation. People start calling me the “Cinch Lady” and wanted me to share more of my secrets on how to look and feel your best after babies.

Top Questions Moms Usually Ask:

1) I am still preggo, but I really have to have the “Cinch” now before my baby comes out so I can have the Cinch all ready to go. Which size of Cinch should I buy now?

It is simple. If your pre-preggo waist is 32” or Size 10 or less, get the S-M Cinch. If above a 10 ladies , your safer to get the L-XL.

2) I just delivered my baby and I want the Cinch. What is the best way to measure my waist?

Yes, if your baby came out naturaly you can wear it the next day. Always take it easy at first then slowing tighten the Cinch as you feel better down there. Ouch. Don’t forget to always let your doctor know what you are doing. If you had a C-Section, you may have to wait a few weeks before you wear ‘The Cinch Tummy Wrap.’ Your wound has to heal and close before you apply pressure. Ask you doctor when you can wear wrap.

4) Can I wear my Cinch all day and night? For how long?

When you are all set to go, you can wear the Cinch all day and even better if you can go to sleep with it too. The material that touches your skin promotes circulation and has moisture control. This means you won’t itch. Just take it off before a shower or once in a while if you feel like it.

Once you start you should wear the Cinch for at least 6-8 weeks all day and night for best results. When you are back to your old jeans, you can wear the Cinch any time you had a big holiday meal. Then all it takes is one or two days to feel the difference.

It even have a measuring device to help you see your results. It is the only proactive adjustable wrap that can compress your tummy with a force of two wraps in one. There is the 4 easy steps to wear the Cinch the right way. First, size your Cinch in the front. Second, breath in while you zip it up on the right side. Third, adjust and lower the front panel to the target centre zone and smooth down. Fourth, stretch out the side wing elastic straps and Velcro them to your back. Breath out and in and make sure you are comfortable.

8) How do I care for my Cinch?

Easy. Hand wash with mild soap and hang dry. Cinch has scotch guard protection and usually it is low-maintenance as long as you take care of it like your second baby.

9) I don’t want to have people asking me when I am I due after I just had my baby 3 months ago. How can the Cinch help?

Cinch is to help compress the tummy after giving birth and shrink the uterus. Many of your tummy muscles such as the Transverse, oblique and Rectus Abdminus muslces are stretched out of portion. Without the help of a wrap, they will take a longer period of time to recover. Especially if you don’t have a good diet and eat too much, they may never get back to normal and hence the muffin tops and tummy rolls. Do it right the first time and you will have your friends asking you for your secret to looking and feeling great right after your baby. You can have the cake and eat it too, ladies.

10) I was a small before now after baby I am smack in the middle of the two sizes? Which size should I get?

If you were small or under size 10, chances are you will definitely fit in a size S-M.

11) Will I look good wearing the Cinch Tummy Wrap in my sexy t-shirt?

Be real ladies, you are wearing a binder. It can’t just disappear under your clothes. The Cinch Lady had researched and developed her Cinch Tummy Wrap for over 3 years to find the thinnest and most durable fabric that she can find. If you see just a little line under your tight t-shirt, don’t sweat it. This just mean the Cinch is working for you to allow you to wear a tight T-shirt in the first place.

If you find that the wrap is bulging and crinkle underneath your clothes, then you are not wearing the Cinch the correct way. Start from step 1 and make sure you size the Cinch and Velcro the front elastic strap all the way against the upper seam so the front panel is covers down smoothly.

12) I am a multi-task mom and I need to move around a lot. Can I still function wearing my Cinch all day?

Of course, Cinch is made with high end materials and strategically designed so you can bend, flex and manoeuvre easily with your baby or toddler. The most important part is you can breath in it.

The tummy wrap is not only to look good on the outside. It is not simply vanity. More importantly, it is about your health. The Cinch Tummy Wrap is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle which include exercise and a good diet. It is always good to have a team of support, your mom, your friends including your doctors to motivate you toward your goal to a healthier living.
